Irdeto Access Builds on Customer Satisfaction Leadership and Beats Industry Benchmarks

Satmetrix customer experience management program finds Irdeto Access’ customers rate the content security pioneer as best in the industry 

FOSTER CITY, Calif., October 25, 2005Irdeto Access, a world leader in content security and subsidiary of multinational media group Naspers (NASDAQ: NPSN and JSE: NPN), today announced that 2005 saw a significant increase in already outstanding customer satisfaction ratings. Irdeto Access’ annual Customer Loyalty program showed scores that were even better than last year, qualifying the company for the Satmetrix Elite program, an exclusive system that recognizes the company’s commitment and success in creating customer loyalty.

Irdeto Access contracted Satmetrix, a leading global provider of customer experience management (CEM) solutions , to analyze more than 100 of its customers to measure their loyalty to the company and rank its solutions. The program solicited the customers’ opinions and attitudes toward Irdeto Access, determining their satisfaction with various aspects of Irdeto Access’ delivery, including sales, account management, marketing, customer service, program management and logistics.

  • Nearly fifty percent more customers would actively promote Irdeto Access to other companies than last year
  • The overall satisfaction rating increased, including whether customers would choose Irdeto Access again, recommend it to another company and continue to buy its products
  • Irdeto Access gets the highest scores from its customers’ senior decision makers
